Funky House Tribe is a production team composed of two childhood  friends who share the same passion for music. George Vibe has been a night club disc jokey  with many radio guess appearances for over 15 years and Jerry Martinez has  been a musician since his early years. Jerry Martinez refined his musical talent as a graduate of Musicians Institution (MI) in Hollywood, California. It was at MI where Jerry Martinez refined his skills by working with some of the best producers and engineers in the industry. Their musical style varies from Hip-Hop to 80's to Latin to the genre that they love and which brought them together as Funky House Tribe, HOUSE MUSIC!

Some of Funky House Tribe's biggest influences are: Jimpster, Mijangos, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Masters At Work, Little Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Dennis Ferrer, Frankie Knuckles, Dj Spen, Quentin Harris, Kerri Chandler, Mr. V, Miguel Migs, Jay J, Inland Knights, Roger Sanches, hardsoul, Bassment Jaxx, Daft Punk, Kaskade, Jellybean, Armand Van Helden, Bad Boy Bill...along with Los Angeles local legends AJ Mora, Richard Vission, The Hooligans, Dj Orlando, Tony B, and Doc Martin.

Funky House Tribe has been busy in the studio working on new projects that are soon to be released. Mot recent, Funky House Tribe released on Groove Theory Records "Salsa Soul Rhythm" and on Servo Records "Sabroso". Both  "Salsa Soul Rhythm E.P" and the single "Sabroso" can be found at your favorite online music stores TRAXSOURSE, BEATPORT, STOMPY, and iTunes.

Funky House Tribe has also joined efforts with Jerry Flores to create a production team name, "Urbanism", dedicated to bring you new remixes of classic house songs and new material. Be on the lookout for the remix of Cece Penistons classic anthem "Finally" with an Urbanism twist!

Funky House Tribe has turn their dream of producing music and being able to distribute it to the world to listen, feel the rhythm, and feel the Vibe!
